Seasons' will be providing background holiday music for this one-of-a-kind event!

http://www.elegantprogressions.org/reservation-form/

“Elegant Progressions 26: Magnificent Mansions on Front!” celebrates the ongoing restoration and preservation of Harrisburg’s magnificent Front Street mansions, while providing a truly memorable and unique experience for sponsors, guests and benefactors of the partnering charities.

Seatings are offered on the evenings of Friday, Dec. 1 and Saturday, Dec. 2. Guests will be transported throughout the evening to the respective stops for hors d’oeuvre and aperitifs, formal dinner and, to cap off the evening, a grand dessert buffet.

Hors d’oeuvre and aperitifs will be served at the “Evans Mansion,” now the home of Kristine and Alex Hartzler, who purchased and restored it to residential use after decades of use by a law firm. The setting for our formal candlelight dinner is the “King Mansion,” largest of all Front Street mansions and built in 1927 in Mediterranean-revival style, which was recently acquired by Marc Kurowski. Guests will conclude their evening with a sumptuous dessert buffet at the “General Gross Mansion,” the longtime home of Mary K Interiors, which was acquired last year by Chris and Erica Bryce and fully restored as their family residence.

Seasons with Skipper's Alley

We are so excited to be opening for one of our favorite Irish bands of all time! We first encountered these musicians while we were in Sligo for the Fleadh, and they blew us away!

Skipper’s Alley's seven piece ensemble have a dynamic take on traditional Irish music and have garnered wide critical praise and have been featured on such diverse stages as The Late Late Show, La Festival Interceltique de Lorient and the Irish Embassy in Zambia. As they cross the globe regularly, this is your rare chance to see them! Skipper's Alley has a little bit of everything. Described by The Irish Times as “gloriously three dimensional,”the group springs from harp accompanied songs to unkempt sets of reels. Don't miss the next promising young act on the Irish traditional circuit!
